Delicious & Groovy Ginger Citrus Smoothie

Delicious & Groovy Ginger Citrus Smoothie

Delicious because it has a bunch of awesome, fresh, organic fruit and veg…groovy because it’s simple, easy and it might make you feel all chill-ax and healthy-like.

Ginger forward, this nutrient-dense smoothie is tangy and sweet, and thanks to the flax seeds, you know it’s doing wonders for your parts & systems 🤷‍♀️.  I actually didn’t even start my love affair with ginger until the summer of 2018. Seriously, it took that long before I embraced this powerhouse plant. When I began learning flavoring development and recipe building techniques through Rouxbe‘s culinary training, I found that ginger was actually ah-mazing and my taste buds now welcome that spicy, peppery kick.

And, you’ve likely heard…ginger is a SUPERFOOD 💪. As in, a superhero of food. Ginger has been scientifically proven to help our bodies in countless ways, so, why not add it to any and every dish you make. OK, OK…maybe not every dish!

In this smoothie, I have a handful of different organic green veggies and citrus fruit and I encourage you to put your own swing on it. I mean, if you love blueberries, they too are considered a superfood, so, throw some of those bad boys in and you are one step closer to having your own Justice League liquid meal!

Follow this recipe and find out how simple it is for your taste buds to yell DELICIOUS and your body to whisper…GROOVY!
