Keeping veganism "real", we'll transform your favorite classic meals into healthy, hearty dishes that are 100% cruelty-free. Using fresh, local, and organic ingredients whenever possible, Chef Jennifer develops memorable food experiences that will have you craving your next meal.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Step 1: Consultation

Chef Jennifer will conduct a one-on-one, personalized intake consultation in-person or by phone, which provides an opportunity to learn your likes/dislikes, allergies, preferences and anything else that will enable VIR to create ah-mazing menus and outta this world food, just for you!

Step 2: Menu Planning

100% plant-based! Using only organic and local ingredients whenever possible, each menu created for you will be personalized with your tastes and preferences in mind. Chef Jennifer uses the latest in plant-based cooking techniques and utilizes the best-in-quality products found on the market. Menus are always approved by you first.

Step 3: Cook Day

This is where the fun begins! On the prearranged cook day, I shop for your ingredients that morning assuring the freshest products are used. After selecting your bounty of fresh food, the chef will head to your kitchen* for several hours of personalized meal prep. All meals are packaged into the serving sizes you prefer and are waiting for you to heat and eat the moment you get hungry.

* We will require the sole use of your clean kitchen on the cook day.

NOTE: This chef is certified as a Food Safety Manager.

You are probably curious about what kind of food we create and what a typical Vegan It Real menu might look like. Every menu includes tons of fresh organic veggies, legumes, beans and whole grains packed with nutrition! Dishes created by VIR are pretty to look at and even better to eat! With a focus on REAL FOOD, you may quickly discover every meal is your favorite!

Comfort Food

Vegan Shepherd's Pie

A Vegan It Real Signature entree, most people can't even tell this is vegan! Created with plant-based meaty crumbles, peas, carrots, fluffy garlic mashed potatoes and a special blend of herbs and spices. 

Cheesy Taco Tater Tot Casserole

This dish speaks for itself. Cheesy and rich and packed with comfort. Made with tater tots, Just Egg, plant-based chorizo, poblano peppers and chopped greens. Served with a baby greens salad.

Italian Lentil Soup

Signature flavors of Italy come through in this hearty stew and soup combination. Made with chopped seared mushrooms, carrots, celery, sundried tomatoes and healthy, protein-packed green lentils, fresh oregano and thyme. Served with homemade rosemary croutons.

For the Health of It

Coconut Braised Chickpeas w/Sundried Tomatoes 

Made with chickpeas (non-GMO tofu substitute available), sundried tomatoes, onions, garlic, ginger, and finished with coconut milk. Served over whole grains. 

Sweet Spinach & Basil Orzo Salad 

This light and refreshing salad is good any time of year. Enjoyed as an entree or as a side salad, this dish is full of flavor. Organic spinach, basil, dried cherries and toasted pine nuts tossed in a light lemony dressing.

Spicy Thai Tofu & Broccoli over Basmati Rice

Using a perfect blend of heat and sweet, this Thai dish is going to hit all your taste buds with a bang. Crispy spicy sambal tofu, seared and tossed with sauteed organic broccoli and served over a bed of fluffy rice. 

International Flavors

Spanish White Bean Stew

A smoky, flavorful Mediterranean stew packed with potatoes, carrots, peppers and tons of spice. Served over nutty and nutritious farro, an ancient whole grain. Served with garlic pit chips.

Twice Cooked Curry Noodle Stir-fry

A Vegan It Real Signature Dish!  This entree brings tons of Asian flavor using proven anti-inflammatory spices including curry, turmeric and ginger and is overflowing with fresh, organic broccoli, mushrooms, pea pods, onions and carrots.

Spicy Ethiopian Red Lentils 

A flavor-bomb meal that will have your tastebuds singing. Developed with red lentils, carrots, potatoes, tomatoes homemade veggie broth and Ethiopian Berbere spice Served with black forbidden rice (or alternative).

Sweet Tooth

Banana Nut Muffins

Using sweet and ripe bananas, cinnamon and a few secrets, this bread is healthy and delicious. Offered as muffins or a loaf, you choose!

Vegalicious Chocolate Chip Cookies

I fool all non-vegans with these decadent cookies! Choose from 1/2 dozen or a full dozen soft and chewy, chocolatey cookies. Keep in mind, you can't eat just one. Looking for flare, let's add dried cherries!

Spiced & Baked Ginger Apples

Cure that sweet tooth with a dish of gooey spiced apples. Three types of tart organic apples, baked with ginger and warm spice. Perfect for a gooey side dish, dessert or snack.

Whether you just want a few supplemental entrees and you will add your own sides OR you prefer having the whole meal provided, we will create personalized, healthy, and delicious meals that you won't forget!

Most meals are best within 4-5 days and many entrees can be frozen. If these meal prep options don't fit your need, let's chat to see how we can accommodate your special request.

🍎 Price begins* at $275.00 PLUS the cost of menu ingredients.

🥦 Large portions; typically feeds 2 adults for ~ 3-4 days. Each entrée is 2 servings!

🥕 Sides are NOT included.

👩‍🍳 3-4 hours of personalized cook time.

BOUNTIFUL SERVICE: 3 Entrees + 3 Sides 

🍎 Price begins* at $325.00 PLUS the cost of menu ingredients.

🥦 Large portions; typically feeds 2 adults for ~ 4-5 days. Each entrée is 2 servings!

🥕 Side dishes ARE included. Each side is 2-4 servings!
